About us
Rich City Studios is located inside of Richmond's historic Market Square Mall and uses up to date industry standard products & software and offers both recording studio and podcast recording studio for clients to rent. Head audio engineer ChuckT uses his years of training & experience to give clients professional quality audio engineering at affordable rates with quick turn-arounds. We have 3 suites in the mall, “Studio A” the main recording studio, “Studio B” the podcast, photography, film, and music production room, and “Studio C” the 2nd recording studio.

Recording Packages work as follows: $100 = 3 hours of recording time and 1 song mixed and mastered, $200 = 7 Hours of recording time and 2 songs mix and mastered, etc....

How much is studio time in Studio-C?Studio-C: (No engineer provided) $50/hour, $250/5 hours, $400/10 hours

How much is studio time in Studio-B (Content/Photo/Video Production Room)?Studio-B: Podcasts - $30/hour (2 hour minimum with lights provided.) backdrops - $20 each, $200 for a 1 month once a week 2 hour session (4 days) film equipment rental starts at $75/hour Film/Photography - $40/hour includes (2 hour minimum with lights provided.) $350 for 10 hours, backdrops - $20 each

How do I book/schedule studio time?Recording sessions must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance or a same day booking fee of $100 will be added to the total cost of the session. How much is studio time in Studio-A?Studio-A: (engineer included) $30/hour & $40/song for mixing and mastering for adults. $20/hour & $20/song for mixing and mastering for 17 years old and under. We also have recording packages available for adults. $100 = 3 hours of recording time plus 1 song mixed and mastered from that session. $200 =7 hours + 2 songs, $300= 12 hours + 3 song, etc all the way to $1000 which gets you 48 hours of recording time + 10 songs mixed and mastered. Studio hours can be split into multiple days.
